Hello, is there a consolidated document describing all supported platforms? Something like:
- builds on HP Tru64 Unix 5.1b (the recommended configuration is ... )
- builds on RedHat Enterprise Linux 2.1
- builds on SuSE Linux
...

ImageMagick can be built on any platform with a modern C compiler. What exactly are you looking for?

Hello, thank you for replying.

We have to provide a solution to a customer asking to support the following platforms:

HP 9000, HP-UX 11.i (32 bits)
HP 9000, HP-UX 11.i (64 bits)
HP 9000, HP-UX 11i v 2.0 (32 bits)
HP 9000, HP-UX 11i v 2.0 (64 bits)

HP Itanium, HP-UX 11.i 1.6

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 2.1 (AS, ES)

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9

IBM RS/6000 / pSeries, AIX 5.2 (32 bits)
IBM RS/6000 / pSeries, AIX 5.2 (64 bits)
IBM RS/6000 / pSeries, AIX 5.3 (32 bits)
IBM RS/6000 / pSeries, AIX 5.3 (64 bits)

Sun SPARC Solaris 8 (64 bits)
Sun SPARC Solaris 9 (64 bits)
Sun SPARC Solaris 10 (64 bits)

HP Tru64 UNIX 5.1b

We expect the library to build on all these platforms. However, the client expectations are high and we have to provide straight answers: "it works" or "it does not work" on platform xxx.

The only way to be sure is to build/install ImageMagick yourself, however, at some point in the last year we have compiled/built ImageMagick under most of the OS's you listed other than AIX and Solaris 9.
