transfer project settings of m++demos to another project

im using the windows binary of IM. i've tried copying every setting found in the project settings of the demo projects of magick++ to another project i need to use as the primary project (its a Qt project file, i need to integrate it with IM). when i did this i get errors of "cannot open .obj" and other .obj related errors, or "unresolved symbol" error. it somehow searches for an obj that doesnt exist on my disk. i've copied all settings found in the demo project file, i copied them into the project file im using, so technically it should work, but the errors keep on appearing. can anyone help me transfer project settings?
