Help me make a static build

Help me make a static build

im not having any luck building a static build. i got the windows source and tried to configure it using Visual Static ST. i got a lot of errors tho and the build cannot link core_db_bzlib.lib. my program in turn, using the static build settings, had a lot of unresolved externals. any help is appreciated, thanks
