Order of execution of multiple operations with mogrify?

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

If you are using IM v5 mogify probelm did resize then crop, regardless of command line order.

For IM v6 the order should be as you specified. This was the difference in the major releases. see IM examples Basics (at the top) for more details.
