I see in 6.3.9-3, the svg coder is now using Cairo. Unfortunately, I am on a version of the Linux OS that doesn't currently support it. The machines I am using are owned by our IT department, which only are allowed standard patch upgrades.
Would it be possible to add a MAGICKCORE_CAIRO_DELEGATE define in the configure and merge the older svg code in with the new. If you need a merge point, I have updated the svg.c file in this manner from the 6.3.8-11 code base. I am unsure of the Cairo build, and there are a couple of changes between the two code versions I am unsure about.

Re: SVG coder now using Cairo
Post a URL to your patch here and we will get it into the next point release of ImageMagick. Thanks.

Your patch was applied against ImageMagick 6.3.9-6 Beta, available sometime tomorrow. Thanks.
