Euro symbol

I just copied your text and pasted it into this command line:

convert -size 240x75 xc:white -pointsize 72 -fill yellow -annotate +25+65 "€5.88"  euro_text.png

and it works fine.
I'm using IM 6.3.9 on Windows XP Pro.
Which version of IM are you using?
