How to split a pdf of A3 paper size into A4?

How to split a pdf of A3 paper size into A4?

Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to split a pdf of A3 paper size into A4? I have some some familiarity with ImageMagick (mainly converting batches of jpegs to pdf) but I am not very sure how to do this.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you looked at -crop ?
