possible bug in verbose info IM 6.4.3-6

IM 6.4.3-6 Q16 Mac OSX Tiger
Seems like identify -vebose is displaying some strange (backwards) information about min/max values when transparency is enabled. That is, min is larger than max.

When I do:
identify -verbose image.png
...

Depth: 16/8-bit

gray: 1-bit
alpha: 8-bit
Channel statistics:
gray:
min: 0 (0)
max: 0 (0)
mean: 0 (0)
standard deviation: -0 (-0)
alpha:
min: 255 (1)
max: 0 (0)
mean: 55.0361 (0.215828)
standard deviation: 103.896 (0.407436)
I suspect this is a carryover from using opacity. But it seems for reporting alpha values, that the min and max are backwards.
