WAV to BMP

Post by dognose »

yes, audio to image file.

I'm working on some visualization on sound effects and I need to convert audio images (wav) to a graphical representation. Not actually analyzing the sound, but really the closest thing to a direct conversion of data.

I have seen a windows app that does that and more.

Some of the stuff they do is pretty neat, especially when using image manipulation on the sound image and converting it back to audio.

I'm just wondering if anyone here has done this or has any ideas on sound visualization, or what would be the easiest way to convert the file?
