When I run this example from
http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/misc/

convert -size 10x20 xc: -draw 'line 4,0 4,20' \
-scale 50x100 ip_line_none.gif
for method in integer nearestneighbor bilinear mesh bicubic spline; do
convert -size 10x20 xc: -draw 'line 5,0 5,20' \
-interpolate $method -filter point -distort SRT 17 \
-scale 50x100 ip_line_${method}.gif
done

The command Line comes out with this error.

convert: unrecognized option `-interpolate'.
convert: unrecognized option `-interpolate'.
convert: unrecognized option `-interpolate'.
convert: unrecognized option `-interpolate'.
convert: unrecognized option `-interpolate'.
convert: unrecognized option `-interpolate'.

'intent' and 'interlace' options are present but not interpolate. Can someone help me out to fix this?

We tried the command with the latest ImageMagick release, 6.4.5-8, and it ran without complaint. Type
  • convert -version
to determine which version of ImageMagick ou are using.
