OS: Windows XP
Version: 6.4.6 Q16
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a JPG image using IMDisplay
2. Click View -> Resize ..., and then enter a size.
3. Click File -> Save As ..., and save it as a different file.
The resulting file is empty. Clicking "Save" instead of "Save As ..." also results in an empty file.
I am also wonder why you put the Resize functions on the View menu. It should be one of the Transform functions by definition.
Update: Clicking Save immediately after opening a JPEG image also results in an empty file. So the bug is probably not in resizing code, but in file saving code.
IMDisplay fails to resize images
Re: IMDisplay fails to resize images
imdisplay is a contributed project that was never completed. ImageMagick is open source. We have hope that an ImageMagick user will enhance the imdisplay program and contribute the changes back to the ImageMagick project. The ImageMagick developers would do this work ourselves but we are primarily Linux developers and know little about MFC.
