Hello,
I am developing open source for medical Health care PACS application.
I have to convert .dcm file to jpeg or gif file.and also read dicom file and fetch data from dicom to mysql.
Please help me out from this problem i am not able to convert .dcm files.

This ImageMagick command will do what you want:

• convert image.dcm image.jpg
  convert image.dcm image.gif
