[import] Border appears in image

When trying to take a screenshot of, with the "import" tool, a Java applet that is being redrawn, the dragged rectangle disappears and reappears when you let go of the mouse to take the picture. This results in the rectangle lining the screenshot. See it for yourself while trying to take a screenshot of this applet while it is being drawn:
