Would it be possible for ImageMagick to convert modern image files to the old DEGAS file format?

My favorite program is a document processor, that produces very high quality printed output. Unfortunately, the only inline images it will recognize have to be in the old DEGAS format...

ImageMagick does not support the DEGAS image format and we do not anticipate support for the format any time soon. However, search for a program called pbmtopi3 and try this command:

convert myimage myimage.pbm
pbmtopi3 myimage.pbm > myimage.pi3
