QUESTION running Imagemagick in a networked environment?

I briefly checked whether this topic existed already or not and found nothing. I hope it is a new topic.
I am interested in convincing my colleagues to add ImageMagick to our set of tools. It would help us with marking photos and resizing photo data. At our office we are generally set up to read our software from shared drives to run on each local machine. We try to minimize software installed on the workstations which helps when we manage the software.
Would ImageMagick be able to be set up and run (on Windows machines) in this networked fashion? Where could I find the set up information to get started?
