I'm currently using GoDaddy.com but the version of imagemagick they are using is very old. Can anyone suggest a good hosting service with the lastest version or a version higher than 6.5.4-3.?

I have had the same problem with Godaddy and they refuse to update it or add a new version somewhere. Very frustrating. Rumor has it that 1 and 1 hosting (http://order.1and1.com:80/xml/order/Hom ... 0923952960) is willing to help you install a current version in your own directory. But I have not confirmed that. see http://faq.1and1.com/scripting_language ... ell/9.html

Googling, I found this, but don't know anything about them. At one time I considered bluehost. Don't know about support for current versions of IM.

Hosts seem very reluctant to update Imagemagick and some do not even answer questions about it - I found that out yesterday after asking a host a direct question and will be unlikely to use them!

I have found some users on this forum http://www.webhostingtalk.com/ helpful although there are a lot of people advertising and I would be careful about who I picked. I selected a VPS provider from their forum and have not had any problems with them.

If the latest version important and you have UNIX skills. I would look at a host that provides command line shell and compiling, then look at a personal install.
