Windows binaries Q8 x64

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

Windows binaries Q8 x64

Hello!

It would be nice If there was published x64 Q8 windows binaries. On the page with Windows Binaries there is no such release.
I use IM for web development and I don't need quality of Q16 version. If there was x64 Q8 then I suspect image processing would be faster.

Is it possible with next releases of IM ?

There are no plans to support additional binary releases of ImageMagick for Windows. Other configurations are possible by downloading the ImageMagick source distribution and compiling with configuration options that suit your requirements. You can post a sponsorship query @ http://www.imagemagick.org/script/contact.php and they can build a custom release for you for a modest cost.
