why can't I use Magick-users mailing list?

When I post to the list, I get:

http://www.imagemagick.org/discourse-server/.

Does this mean the IM mailing lists are no longer functioning?

Is this true for all lists, including magick-bugs?

The lists have been steadilly getting less and less usage. The discorse server works better in that you can re-edit and update posts. It is also easier to directly search for previous topics about something, and is open to people who are just visiting and do not have a account. Basically it works better.

Personally I disagree ( I prefer lists), but that is not the point.
When one subscribes to a list via e.g.

There is no mention that one will not be able post to the list.

I'd expect that if one can subscribe, then one should be
allowed to post too, right?

Also, I do get occasional emails delivered from magick-bugs
mailing list. So the lists must still be working, right?

At times the server hangs and until someone reports this to the bugs forum, no one knows. The server probably just needs restarting.
