sRGB v4 is more than 10 years old (from 2001), and better than sRGB v2. In particular, it has more accurate inverse transforms, which means that it is more "reversible".
Time to "upgrade"?
(Note that I don't have stats RE: how many viewers out there don't understand v4.)
