Temp File on Windows 2008 R2

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

Temp File on Windows 2008 R2

We have ImageMagick-6.7.9-4-Q8 running on Windows 2008 R2 server. I have tried adding the following as an enviroment variable.
MAGICK_TMPDIR
F:\imagemagicktemp\
When that didn't work I tried the following as an enviroment variable.
MAGICK_TEMPORARY_PATH
F:\imagemagicktemp\

When that did not work we tried declaring both of the above from the configure.xml file. But all temp files still
are being written to the root of the C: drive. Any suggestions on how to change the temp file location?
