uncaught exception error?

When i load up an Imagick object with too many images I get an uncaught exception:

    $pdf = new Imagick($pages); 
    $pdf->setImageFormat('pdf');
    $pdf->writeImages($temp_path.'/offer2.pdf', true);

If the $pages array has less than 6 images which total less than 1.3M then this works fine

OTHERWISE I GET THIS ERROR:
