I have installed 6.8.8-1-Q16-x64 on my Win7 workstation. When I test the installation from the command prompt, convert wizard: wizard.jpg appears to execute (after a short pause control reverts to the prompt), but when convert wizard.jpg win: executes I get a pause for several seconds and control reverts to the prompt, but the IM display does not open; if the IM display is already open nothing is displayed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There was another post about this a couple of days ago and it will not work for me or another Windows user. It may work for some Windows users; probably depending on the setup.

We can reproduce the problem you posted and have a patch in ImageMagick 6.8.8-2 Beta available by sometime tomorrow. Thanks.
