IM crash with tiff file (identify)

Hello All,

i have a problem, when i try to use "identfy -verbose" with a special tiff file IM will be crash. The problem occure only when i try to use IM with Windows. It works for Linux!

I have try with different versions. (6.5.2, 6.6.9, 6.8.9)

I do not know if there is somthing wrong on the image or with ImageMagick. Or anything idea what i can try?

I can reproduce the problem with the latest version of ImageMagick. I will look into it. Thank you for reporting this and providing the corrupt pdf.

Did you try with IM on windows? The file is a TIFF not a PDF ;)

as i told i try with diffenrent versions and on different comptuer.

Maybe its interessted:
Windows 7 Professional
64 Bit

The PDF was a tiepo :)

I already figured out why it is crashing. Windows is reporting a stack overflow because your file contains a ridiculously large xmp resource. We will have to figure out a way to work around this.

This bug has been fixed. The next release of ImageMagick (6.8.9-1) will include this fix.
