hi,

I reported this Debian bug:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo ... bug=758276

But it may take some time until it's picked up by the over-worked package maintainer(s), so I post it here.

NOTE: the image link currently does not work since the server is down, but the same image is available here:

Thanks and Best Regards,
Felix

To bring up the "display" menu you must click on a non-transparent pixel in the image. Otherwise your "click" will be intercepted by the window underneath the image.

I realize this, but isn't that quite hard on a transparent gif with just a few non-transparent pixels?

Thanks and Best Regards,
Felix

Yes. I don't know why, but if you convert it to PNG and display that, sometimes it's shown against a checkerboard pattern
and you can "click" anywhere to bring up the "display" menu.

hi,

IMHO the checkerboard pattern should be there by default OR the clicks shouldn't be intercepted.
