Hi,

When we are trying to open a resolution changed TIF file in Photoshop, we are experiencing below error:

Could not complete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop

Command Used:
convert -alpha off -units pixelsperinch -resample 72 inputImage.tif[0] -profile USWebCoatedSWOP.icc -profile sRGB Color Space Profile.icm outputImage.tiff
(or)
convert -units pixelsperinch -resample 72 inputImage.tif[0] outputImage.tiff

Any insight?

That is weird. I've never seen that before. Can PS read your input file? Does that have a mixture of 8 and 16 bits/channel/pixel?

I would try to get the same number of bits/channel/pixel. Try "-depth 16" or "-depth 8".
