Hangs and errors

Does IM ever hang? Is there a way to see if its still processing? Are there Error codes? How do you know it completed?
Like any program, this depends on how you run it. For example, it you run it as a normal command from the console, when the prompt returns you know IM has finished.stevenb46 wrote:Is there a way to see if its still processing?
