No contextual menu for Windows 10 64bit?

Hi,

The main feature I use of ImageMagick is the right click to downsize (reduce MB or pixel size) a picture for posting onto blogs etc...

Sorry I'm not technical but I simply don't see the Right click menu to downsize the images like I did on Windows 7 (from within Windows Explorer Window)...
Can anyone give feedback on how to bring this back to Windows 10 OR if there is an issue with my computer or something not setup in ImageMagick?

I'm on Windows 10 Versions 1511 (OS Build 10586.104)
ImageMagick-6.9.3-3-Q16-x64-dll.exe (the first Download in the Windows section).

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards, Kyle.

Someone would have set up your Windows 7 to have that entry in contextual menus. It probably calls a BAT file. Your Windows 10 would need to have a similar setup.

Sorry, I don't know how to do it. But it is a Windows feature, not an ImageMagick feature.

Hi Snibgo,

Ah ok that's grand - I'll figure out how to generally add contextual menus to Windows 10.

Thanks for your help. Cheers, Kyle.

Hi Questorfla,

Thanks for sending me that link - it's what I was looking for :)

Also just randomly after a few restarts of my laptop the contextual menu Right Click for Resize Image actually appeared without me having to do anything! So ImageMagick works grand - I just needed a few computer restarts :)

Cheers guys. Kyle.
