Hello,

I'm trying to convert a cmyk PDF 1.6 (Adobe PDF Library 15) and getting the error WARNING in tgt_create->numnodes == 0; I've tried converting via the command line with most functions and get the error...even as simple as convert file.pdf -colorspace rgb file2.png

This is the first time we've had an issue since installing last week. We're running IM 6.9.3 Q8 x64 on 2008 R2

Thanks in advance.
Brent

Is that all it says? If so, then it doesn't come from IM. More likely, it comes from Ghostscript. What version of Ghostscript are you using? If older than about 9.15, I suggest you upgrade it.

If that doesn't help, I suggest you upload your PDF to somewhere like dropbox.com and paste the link here.

I truncated the error because it's quite long - it repeats a bunch. The full non repeating is..

WARNING in tgt_create->numnodes == 0, no tree created.
WARNING No imsbtree created.
WARNING in tgt_create->numnodes == 0, no tree created.
WARNING No incltree created.

GS9.19 is installed.

The file supplied to us can be found here...

If I open and optimize the PDF, it then works fine.

Thanks,
Brent

With IM v6.9.2-6, GS v9.15, I also get those warnings. I can't see any differences between the output created by IM, and the rendering of the PDF from Adobe Reader.

I suppose the PDF contains something weird, a tree structure that has no nodes.

I think I'm going to go on the premise that this is a "bad" file. Truly appreciate the quick response and taking a look!
