Wrong imange conversion with PNG files

The tool converts the .png files to .jpg files. Is any specific configuration required for this to work fine ?

I don't understand the question.

What version of IM are you using? What platform?

What command did you use? Were there any error messages?

Please, always provide your IM version and platform when asking questions, since syntax may differ. Also provide your exact command line and if possible your images.

Perhaps you have not installed libpng or have not linked ImageMagick with libpng. Type "convert -version" or "magick -version" and see if "png" is listed among the delegates.
