It would be best if you provide an input and output image and your command using those images so we can try to reproduce what you have. Also explain what is wrong with the output and what you desire. Please see viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9620

It seems you want to invert the transparency effect, so you need "-negate" before the close parenthesis.

Please also state the version of IM you use, and your platform (bash, I assume).
