It looks like SMPTE has released HDR extensions to the DPX file format (see https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/8629348). Since DPX is already supported in IM, would there be any chance of including support for the new extensions in ImageMagick? The new standard appears to support all of the BT.2100 formats (PQ/HLG/ICtCp) which would be handy for interfacing with video coding applications. Thanks in advance!

Provide us with a copy of the DPX HDR extensions in PDF as well as a few sample images. We'll investigate supporting the HDR extensions.
