image segmentation algorithm?

Look for references to the fuzzy c-means algorithm for image segmentation.

Do you have a good example of making use of the segment algorithm. I have been trying to understand it better myself so I can then try to example it in IM examples.

A good example will be a major starting point for me an lots of other people.
