problem with convert -extract

Try this command:
  • convert -extract 2490x1000+0+0 0002.tif +extract -compress Group4 -type Bilevel 1.tif
or this
  • convert '0002.tif[-2490x1000+0+0]' compress Group4 -type Bilevel 1.tif
