My ISP did not install fonts with IM, how can I add text?

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

Somewhere in http://www.cit.gu.edu.au/~anthony/graphics/imagick6/ you'll find a discussion on how to specicy local fonts to ImageMagick.
