Do ImageMagick handle .pdf files with mediabox or cropbox?

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

From IM Examples, Common file Formats, Miscellanious formats, PDF I have this note..

  -define pdf:use-cropbox=true
Use a 'cropbox rather than the default 'mediabox' as per Adobe generated PDF files. (Basicaly adds a "-dUseCropBox" to the ghostscript conversion from PDF images.
