ImageMagick has nothing to do with scrolling windows. So it is doubtful you will get any other response to your quiestion, unless you can be clearer in what you are doing which is ImageMagick related.

The command ou want in IM in "import" However it is only a single point capture image.
If you want a more complete multi-image capture, then you are better off running the application in a VNC window and having that application capture everything including mouse movements and so on.

To just capture the window import will then do the job. You can make it more exact by using xwininfo to figure out the windows XID on the Xwindows display.

Point, make sure the window is not covered by some other window when the snapshot is taken.
