I've noticed a lot of useful information on this forum.

In fact it would be incredible if when I learned something tricky about ImageMagick API and command line usage if it could be documented for other users. . .

What about a wiki?

ImageMagick developers could copy and paste the documentation pages to an online hosted wiki with access for IM users to update.
I know that I would be involved in making updates that I find helpful.
It would greatly increase the usability and maintainability for ImageMagick developers.
Is this possible?

I am all for a wiki, though the question become who looks after it.

I myself will probbaly continue to steal things from both the forum, wiki, and other places to enhance IM Examples.

Seconded, I was just going to suggest this and decided to do a search first :D

On the matter of maintainance I think that that will work out eventually.

I admit I'm not too familiar (=have no clue :P) with different wiki software but I'd imagine that it's quite easy to lock certain parts of the wiki (both pages and parts of pages). This would allow the official documentation to be locked while user contributions could be made to the bottom of the page. From time to time someone will clean the mess up and suggest improvements to the official documentation (including the example site).

In time we will see if improvements are made and by whom and thus allowing those users greater privelieges (sp?). If it turns out the wiki isn't used it's just to shut it down.

Ok, I wonder if there is any interest in creating a wiki for IM and related APIs?

If anyone has any ideas on which wiki software to use, I'd appreciate the input.
