Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

ftp.imagemagick.org down?

I've not been able to connect to ftp.imagemagick.org since Sunday. Is there a problem?

tim: ~> ftp ftp.imagemagick.org
ftp: connect: Connection refused
ftp> quit

there was a system crash, and the re-install may not have re-enabled it.
You can download via the web too.

We moved ImageMagick to a new faster server. Ftp is now working properly,
