Hi,
I have been trying to convert psd images to jpg but i keep getting a maximum channels exceeded error message.
I dont know what the problem is.

We need the command you used and the exact error message you received before we can suggest a solution.

I used 'convert B2.psd B2.jpg'

Message :
convert: MaximumChannelsExceeded `B2.psd'.
convert: missing an image filename `B2.jpg'.

This seems to fail only for psd files

Can you post a URL to your image? ImageMagick thinks your image has more than 24 channels-- that's channels not layers.

Your image may be corrupt or just beyond the capabilities of ImageMagick. We tried to read your image with the latest Gimp release and it choked with `PSD: unable to seek forward while reading 'layer record extra data block throw' chunk'.

I kinda figured that was the case coz I have been able to convert some psd image in the past using mogrify as well as convert.
